A message to the Brothers and Sisters from JR.

I am excited to announce that Gilbert Elks Inc., a 501c3 dedicated to helping those in need, has been accepted by Local 266 and S.R.P Boosters to be added to the list of accepted charities.

Local 266 community service has contributed to Gilbert Elks Lodge in its Help the Needy program. Without their help, we would not have been able to continue with our school programs which we have been doing for the past 12 years. We have also helped others by request of our members.

Our sole source of funding has been from the Elks National Foundation, Local 266, and private contributions.

We service five school food banks for which I have volunteered and managed for twelve years at Gilbert Elementary School. We help those in need.

Gilbert Elks Inc. is 100% volunteers with no paid staff and no expense accounts. 

Our volunteers come from the members of the lodge, and our charter is open for new members who would like to help others.
